Overview

CardCaddy helps users track credit card transactions, payment progress, vaults, reminders, and subscription access. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how users can request help.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as name, email address, login credentials, subscription status, and app settings. Users may also enter card names, transaction details, payment records, vault names, notes, and reminder preferences.

If a user connects a financial account through Plaid, CardCaddy may receive linked account metadata and transaction data needed to provide the tracking features. Sensitive Plaid access tokens are stored server-side and are not shown to users, admins, or browser clients.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. CardCaddy does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may provide billing identifiers, subscription status, and limited payment method details such as card brand and last four digits.

How We Use Information

Information is used to operate CardCaddy, show dashboard totals, sync transactions, send reminders and account notices, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot support issues, and keep the service secure.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers that help run the app, including hosting, email delivery, Stripe, and Plaid. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

Security

CardCaddy uses authentication, encrypted connections, server-side token storage, role-based access, webhook verification, rate limits, and production configuration controls to protect user data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but the app is designed to limit unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.

Data Requests

Users can request help with account access, data correction, or account deletion by contacting support@mycardcaddy.com.
